13. GREEN HOUSE GAS EMMISSIONS = CLIMATE CHANGE.?
This is an absolute no brainer. Of course in Bejing they show a picture of Los Angeles. The problem is the emerging nations are now industrialising. India and China together have over 2 billion people all leaving their carbon footprint. If the climate is heating up and there is evidence that it is. Is it man made or cyclical?
Are we to lose out industrially to China and India. Because of this new supposed threat to world wide annilation. We know for a fact that here in America people continue to rebuild their homes within flood plains, Floridians face predictable hurricanes, every year cyclones flood Bangladesh and that a giant meteor caused a giant dust cloud that obliterated the sun ended the reign of the dinosaurs and precipated the ice age. The point being mother earth is still here and so are we.
Do you remember not so long ago it was the ozone layer that was being threatened and the flatuence of cattle in Argentina was causing a hole to widen in the ozone layer. Lots of money was made out of that one. A whole new industry was created out of changing the refrigerent we use in our appliances and the cars we drive.
Boone Pickens (80 plus) made his money in oil. Ploughed it all back into Wind Turbines, found he could not compete against China and is now looking to be bailed out. Alternative sources of alternative energy and non reliance on fossil fuel are the distractions from the reality of a world that is as usual in chaos. The truth is that fossil fuels are in plentiful supply and will remain so well into the the foreseeable future. That China and Japan have a relationship for the mining, hording, manufacturing and the marketing of rare earh metal technology. They have created a virtual monopoly for the necessary components to power the electric car, the wind turbine and the smart bomb. Farmers are being encouraged to produce enthanol which will put up the cost of food. Just follow the money. We are being shamlessly driven into the 'New World Order.'
We need to see these distractions for what they are. Al Gore is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. We as Proamericans need to worry only about our elected leaders feathering their own pockets and selling America's Sovereignty literally 'Down the River'. We have Oil, Natural Gas, Hydrogen, Wood and Coal supplies in abundance for a hundred years or more, plus the back stop of Nuclear Energy any time we want it. If we are going to worry about anything it is a dirty nuculear device carried into America by an individual who if we weren't practising political correctness could be easily profiled. We have to get it together before it is to late. Only Proamericans can do this.
China, India, Indonesiaa, other countries on the Pacfic Rim along with the Africa continent, account for more than half the world's population and are all experiencing the beginings of their own industrial revolutions. Also, for the firt time they are creating their own middle class citizens. Their Governments will not allow their mushrooming economies to falter by enforcing a low carbon footprint policy. Therefore it doesn't make sense that we should impede America's recovery by embracing any policy that creates an addittional and probally unnecessary burden for all of us.
