Everyone will tell us "You Can't Buy Love." We have a Love Fund. But I'm afraid it's not for us here in America. We give it away, tons upon tons of it(money we have to print since we are the word's largest debtor nation). It's called Foreign Aid. Our borrowed money lent us by China (communists) and Japan (we bombed them to hell in World War 2), rarely gets to the people who would benefit from it, rather it goes into the pockets of state and local politicians, to buy war materials, infrastructure programs for the likes of Dick Cheny's old company Haliburton who are awarded a non competitive bids and get the job. It just goes on and on and on. Think about it. Is there anything left for the world to RESPECT about our America? Of course there is! We are still "The land of apple pie, milk and honey, and the willingness to help fellow Americans in need. It's all STILL HERE!
It is our single most powerful saving grace. Just as it was with our forefathers. We are the only country in the world that is a nation of Good Samaritans. If somone here in America is in trouble, then our neighbors, complete strangers, passersby, we all instinctively as nation pitch in for the common good.
911, the self inflicted Gulf Oil Spill, Hurricane Katrina, a roadside emergency. No matter how big or how small, we as a people raise up lend a hand and rebuild the barn or help out and do whatever needs to be done. You all know what I mean. We don't need anyone to tell us what is right and what is wrong. We are a good people and willing to "Help People to Help Themselves." (our elected leaders already have a plan in place to take all American Liberty away from us. It hides under the acronym of FEMA 'Federal Emergancy Management Agency.')
We must slowly and surely take back America throw out the Pharisees and foreign money lenders, clean up our Temple and replace the rot with "Truth, Justice and The American Way." The 10 Commandments were all short on verbage but clear on intent. Let's review the really tough ones that are common sense and need no explanation. Starting with the toughest.
4th. Honor Thy Father and thy Mother.
5th. You Shall not kill.
6th. You shall not commit adultery.
7th. You shall not steal.
8th. You shall not bear false witness againt thy neighbor.
9th.You shall not covert thy neighbour's spouse.
10th. You shall not covert thy neighbor's goods.
It's clever isn't it. We are all guilty of breaking at least one of the above. If we are to have a nation that we can be proud of, then our nation has to believe in these values. The loftier philosophy of the second sentance of of our Declaration of Indeprendence adopted by the 2nd Congressional Congress on July 4th 1776 and generally attributed to Thomas Jefferson is universally accepted as the greatest politlcal revelation ever written.
"WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF-EVIDENT, THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, THAT THEY ARE ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH CERTAIN UNALIENABLE RIGHTS, THAT AMONG THESE ARE LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS."
When we start to practice these immortal words here in America. Then and only then will the whole world not only like and respect us, they will also admire us and love us for creating and sustaining the utopia, that America must be seen to be, if she is to be the moral leader of the world that surrounds her. 'Political correctness' cannot be allowed to be the substitute for common sense. The rest of the world profiles us by our actions. Let's make every thing right in America first and by so doing set the correct example so that the rest of the world can follow. We got rid of British domination. We fought a civil war here to stop the Southern States from seceding from 'The Union.' We entered World War II because Japan attacked us. These are deeds that we as a nation can point to as the right thing to have done. As
Theodore Roosevelt said. "Speak softly and carry a big stick!"
Whether we like it or not it is a fact that we are considered an imperialistic nation and the world no longer trusts us. We need to make sure world history and geography are also taught in our schools. That bullying at any level is unacceptable. That the pen is mightier than the sword. That America is tolerant of other cultures. That we will only fight if we are attacked and that we will respect the turf of others. Our children are our future we must nurture and cherish them above all things.
